GOSIPGARUT.ID —<\/b> Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kabupaten Garut kini dilengkapi dengan satuan tugas (satgas) merpati. Satgas ini dilengkapi sarana kendaraan operasional berupa kendaraan unit merpati, dengan fasilitas pesawat komunikasi dan tempat duduk semi terbuka.<\/p>\n

Kendaraan yang didominasi cat putih ini sekilas lebih menampakkan humanis yang disesuaikan dengan mengambil dari nama hewan burung merpati.<\/p>\n

Satgas merpati, seperti dituturkan Kepala Satpol PP, Hendra S. Gumilar, dibentuk dalam upaya penyelenggaraan umum yang lebih mengedepankan humanis, maka anggotanya sengaja lebih melibatkan anggota Satpol PP wanita. <\/p>\n

“Kami turunkan anggota wanita dengan pertimbangan mereka memiliki emosi penuh dengan keramahan dan senyum,” ujarnya didampingi Kepala Bidang Ketentraman dan Ketertiban Umum, Erin Heriyana.<\/p>\n

Ia berharap semua bisa berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada kekerasan, tapi tegas. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, mereka melaksanakan di antaranya penertiban penyandang masalah kesejahteraan sosial (PMKS), anak bolos sekolah, anak jalanan, anak funk, serta gepeng (gelandang dan pengemis). <\/p>\n

“Tidak hanya itu, satgas ini juga memberikan himbauan kepada masyarakat berkenaan dengan ketentraman dan ketertiban umum, negosiasi dan operasi yang membutuhkan peran Satpol PP wanita. Dalam penertiban PSK, kami terjunkan mereka,” ujar Hendra.

Ia menambahkan, satgas merpati setiap menjelang Shalat Jum’at, ditugaskan untuk menghimbau secara rutin bagi kaum muslimin di kawasan perkotaan (pengkolan).<\/p>\n

Hendra menjelaskan, keberaadan satgas bagi internal unit kerja, selain meningjatkan SDM Satpol PP yang humanis, responsif dan tegas, juga untuk neningkatkan integritas dalam pelaksanaan trantibum dalam penegakan perda dan perkada. Diharapkan ini bisa dicapai melalui integritas, dedikasi, dan loyalitas yang tinggi dalam pekerjaan maupun kepada pimpinan<\/p>\n

“Kami berharap dapat memenuhi harapan masyarakat terhadap terciptanya kondisi yang kondusif, melalui pendekatan humanis namun tegas,” kata dia.<\/p>\n

Sementara Menurut Kabid Trantibum, Erin Heriyana, keberadaan satgas merpati masih belum begitu familiar di masyarakat. Masyarakat lebih menganggap petugas Satpol PP yang keras padahal tidak.<\/p>\n
