GOSIPGARUT.ID —<\/b> <\/span> Sebanyak 32 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) di Jawa Barat menggandeng 64 perusahaan dari berbagai sektor industri. Kerja sama ini menjadi upaya pemerintah mempersempit jarak antara keterampilan yang diajarkan di sekolah dan kebutuhan dunia kerja.<\/p>\n

Perjanjian kerja sama tersebut difasilitasi Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Barat dan ditandatangani di SMKN 1 Setu, Kabupaten Bekasi, Selasa, 1 September 2026. Kemitraan mencakup sejumlah bidang keahlian, antara lain bisnis dan manajemen, pariwisata, manufaktur dan rekayasa, teknologi informasi, seni dan ekonomi kreatif, serta otomotif.<\/p>\n

Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Barat Purwanto mengatakan kolaborasi dengan industri penting karena sekolah memiliki keterbatasan fasilitas dan sumber daya. Perusahaan, kata dia, dapat menjadi tempat belajar nyata bagi siswa.<\/p>\n

“Keterbatasan sekolah itu hanya bisa diatasi dengan kolaborasi. Saya berterima kasih kepada perusahaan-perusahaan yang bersedia menjadi living lab bagi anak-anak kita,” kata Purwanto.<\/p>\n

Konsep living lab<\/i> membuat pembelajaran tidak berhenti di ruang kelas. Siswa dapat berhadapan langsung dengan peralatan, teknologi, prosedur, dan budaya kerja yang berlaku di industri.<\/p>\n

Menurut Purwanto, pola tersebut menjadi bagian penting dari upaya memperkuat link and match antara pendidikan vokasi dan dunia usaha serta dunia industri (Dudika).<\/p>\n

Ia meminta kepala SMK di Jawa Barat tidak menunggu industri datang. Sekolah harus aktif mencari dan membangun kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak.<\/p>\n

Mitra tersebut tidak terbatas pada perusahaan besar. UMKM dan komunitas lokal juga dinilai dapat dilibatkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Praktisi industri bahkan didorong masuk ke ruang kelas untuk mengajar dan berbagi pengalaman.<\/p>\n

Kemenperin Serahkan Mesin Bubut<\/h2>\n

Dalam agenda yang sama, SMKN juga memperoleh dukungan fasilitas praktik dari Kementerian Perindustrian melalui Direktorat Jenderal Industri Logam, Mesin, Alat Transportasi, dan Elektronika (ILMATE).<\/p>\n

Bantuan tersebut berupa mesin dan peralatan praktik, salah satunya mesin bubut atau general lathe impor asal Korea Selatan.<\/p>\n

Purwanto menilai fasilitas praktik yang sesuai dengan standar industri menjadi kebutuhan penting pendidikan vokasi. Siswa harus terbiasa menggunakan peralatan yang mendekati kondisi sebenarnya di tempat kerja.<\/p>\n

“Kelengkapan alat yang memadai akan membiasakan siswa dengan ritme serta standar operasional di dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya,” ujar Purwanto.<\/p>\n

Namun, ia mengingatkan pendidikan vokasi tidak boleh hanya mengejar kemampuan teknis. Sekolah juga harus membentuk karakter siswa agar mampu mengikuti budaya kerja di perusahaan.<\/p>\n

Disiplin, kebersihan, tanggung jawab, dan kepatuhan terhadap prosedur, menurut Purwanto, merupakan bagian dari kompetensi yang dibutuhkan industri.<\/p>\n

“Perusahaan membutuhkan orang-orang yang disiplin dan tanggung jawab,” tegasnya.<\/p>\n

Kerja sama antara SMK dan industri tersebut diharapkan tidak berhenti pada penandatanganan dokumen. Kemitraan dituntut menghasilkan pembelajaran yang lebih dekat dengan kebutuhan lapangan.<\/p>\n

Bagi sekolah, industri menjadi ruang untuk menguji kompetensi siswa. Bagi perusahaan, kemitraan dapat menjadi salah satu cara menyiapkan calon tenaga kerja yang memiliki keterampilan sesuai kebutuhan.<\/p>\n
