Tindakan sederhana seperti memperhatikan rambu, menengok kiri-kanan, dan menunggu palang pintu terbuka merupakan bentuk nyata kepedulian terhadap keselamatan diri sendiri maupun orang lain.<\/p>\n<p>Sayangnya, masih banyak pengendara yang mengabaikan aturan ini demi menghemat waktu, tanpa menyadari bahaya besar yang mengintai. Pasalnya, KA membutuhkan jarak dan waktu pengereman yang panjang untuk berhenti total. Ketika kendaraan menerobos perlintasan, potensi kecelakaan menjadi sangat tinggi dan fatal.<\/p>\n<p>Peran Petugas Penjaga Pintu Lintasan (PJL) di setiap perlintasan KA menjadi sangat penting dalam mengamankan perjalanan kereta api. Keselamatan pengguna jalan di perlintasan bergantung pada tingkat kepatuhan pengguna jalan untuk mematuhi rambu lalu lintas dan sinyal peringatan di perlintasan.<\/p>\n<p>KAI Properti sebagai entitas pengelola sejumlah fasilitas perlintasan dan penyedia beberapa petugas PJL di berbagai wilayah, terus menekankan pentingnya kepatuhan terhadap aturan keselamatan. Kehadiran petugas PJL bukanlah pengganti kewaspadaan, tetapi pelengkap sistem keselamatan yang tetap memerlukan kesadaran penuh dari pengguna jalan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Keselamatan adalah prioritas utama dalam ekosistem perkeretaapian. Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk tidak terburu-buru, melainkan meluangkan beberapa detik untuk berhenti dan memastikan aman sebelum melintasi rel. Satu tindakan kecil ini dapat menyelamatkan banyak nyawa,\u201d ujar Plt. Sekretaris Perusahaan KAI Properti, Ramdhani Subagja.<\/p>\n<p>Aturan terkait keselamatan di perlintasan sebidang juga telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2007 tentang Perkeretaapian Pasal 124 yang berbunyi:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pada perpotongan sebidang antara jalur KA dan jalan, pemakai jalan wajib mendahulukan perjalanan KA.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan Pasal 114 menegaskan:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pengemudi kendaraan wajib berhenti ketika sinyal sudah berbunyi, palang pintu sudah mulai ditutup, dan\/atau ada isyarat lain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>KAI Properti mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk tidak mengabaikan rambu, tidak menerobos palang pintu, serta menjadikan keselamatan sebagai budaya dalam setiap perjalanan.
