Tak mampu dikendalikan, kendaraan besar itu menabrak pembatas jalan dan terjun ke dalam jurang sedalam sekitar 40 meter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Crane tersebut dikemudikan oleh Rahmatullah (36), warga Kota Cilegon, Banten. Bersamanya, turut serta kernet bernama Rayhan Arrofi (22), juga warga Cilegon,&#8221; jelas Hilman.<\/p>\n<p>Ia menegaskan, kecelakaan terjadi karena gangguan pada sistem rem kendaraan.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Jalur tersebut memang dikenal rawan karena kondisi jalan yang menurun tajam serta cuaca yang saat itu gerimis. Untungnya, kedua korban hanya mengalami luka ringan dan langsung dilarikan ke Puskesmas Samarang,&#8221; ujar Hilman.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut dia, kerugian materi akibat kejadian tersebut ditaksir mencapai Rp10 juta. Dua saksi mata yang berada di lokasi turut dimintai keterangan oleh pihak kepolisian, yaitu Agus (50) dan Cecep (32), warga sekitar.<\/p>\n<p>Hilman menyampaikan, langkah cepat dilakukan pihaknya dengan mendatangi lokasi, mengevakuasi korban, mengamankan barang bukti, serta berkoordinasi dengan Unit Gakkum Satlantas Polres Garut guna penanganan lebih lanjut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kami mengimbau agar kendaraan berat lebih berhati-hati saat melintasi jalur menurun dan berbelok tajam, terlebih saat kondisi cuaca kurang bersahabat seperti malam kejadian tersebut,&#8221; pungkasnya.
