GOSIPGARUT.ID —<\/b> <\/span> Pemerintah Kabupaten Garut mulai menggulirkan program The Development of Integrated Farming System in Upland Area (UPLAND)<\/i> komoditas kentang untuk tahun 2025\u20132026. Sosialisasi kegiatan ini digelar pada Selasa (22\/4\/2025) di Kantor Desa Giriawas, Kecamatan Cikajang.<\/p>\n

Kepala Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Garut, Haeruman, menjelaskan bahwa program UPLAND bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan produksi kentang, sekaligus mendongkrak pendapatan petani. Selain itu, program ini juga akan memperluas akses permodalan melalui bantuan sarana produksi serta dukungan microfinance<\/i>, serta membangun kemitraan agribisnis dari hulu hingga hilir.<\/p>\n

“Program ini akan dilaksanakan selama dua tahun, mulai 2025 hingga 2026, dengan target pengembangan budidaya kentang seluas 480 hektare,” ujar Haeruman.<\/p>\n

Selain pengembangan budidaya, proyek ini juga mencakup pembangunan infrastruktur pertanian, seperti jalan usaha tani (JUT) sepanjang 11 kilometer dan 24 unit irigasi air tanah dalam.<\/p>\n

Haeruman menambahkan, pihaknya berharap program UPLAND dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani, mewujudkan kawasan sentra produksi kentang yang berdaya saing, serta membentuk bank tani sebagai wadah pengelolaan usaha tani secara kolektif.<\/p>\n
