Saat ini, pihaknya tinggal melaksanakan gladi resik. Undangan pembukaan Porkab 2024 telah disebarkan, dan pertemuan dengan <i>chief demission<\/i>, dengan kontingen, hingga pertemuan dengan tiap cabor sudah dilaksanakan.<\/p>\n<p><i>Opening ceremony<\/i> Porkab 2024 rencananya akan digelar pada 21 Juli malam di Lapangan Gelora Merdeka Kerkof, dengan rangkaian acara yang meriah dipersembahkan untuk seluruh masyarakat Garut. Syakur menyebutkan, panitia pelaksana sudah mulai menyiapkan acara secara detail mulai dari penyambutan Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kabupaten Garut di Pamengkang.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jadi di Kerkof juga dibuat rangkaian acara yang intinya adalah bahwa ini acara seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Garut, acara yang sangat berharga sehingga harus gebyar, meriah, (dan) menggembirakan semuanya,&#8221; ucapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Syakur menegaskan, bahwa pihaknya tidak memungut biaya sepeserpun kepada para peserta maupun para penonton, karena Porkab adalah pesta masyarakat Kabupaten Garut. Ia berharap Porkab dapat berjalan sukses dan meningkatkan persatuan serta kesatuan, serta meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jadi kita bisa mendapatkan bibit-bibit (atau) atlet-atlet yang memiliki potensi untuk bisa dikembangkan, dan kita bina lagi sehingga menjadi atlet kebanggaan Kabupaten Garut untuk event-event yang lebih tinggi,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Di tempat yang sama, perwakilan Tarung Derajat Kabupaten Garut, Abah Ucu Boxer, menyatakan kesiapan 100 persen untuk mengikuti ajang Porkab 2024. Pertandingan Tarung Derajat akan berlangsung pada 24-27 Juli 2024 di SOR RAA Adiwijaya, diikuti 150 atlet tarung derajat <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Harapannya, Porkab ini berjalan lancar, membentuk atlet
