Ia pun telah menerapkan kebijakan &#8220;zero alkohol&#8221; di Kabupaten Garut.<\/p>\n<p>Seiring dengan maraknya peredaran miras dan minuman beralkohol tanpa ijin di wilayah hukumnya, jajaran Polres Garut terus melakukan razia dan penegakan hukum terhadap pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam peredaran barang haram itu.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Yonky, penetapan kebijakan zero alkohol oleh Polres Garut itu dibuat bukan tanpa dasar. Kapolres menjelaskan, penetapan kebijakannya diperkuat dan didukung dengan Perda Kabupaten Garut No.13 tahun 2015, pasal 7 tentang larangan miras dan perubahan atas perda Kabupaten Garut No 2 tahun 2008 tentang anti perbuatan maksiat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Polres Garut telah menerapkan kebijakan &#8216;zero alkohol&#8217; di Kabupaten Garut,&#8221; tandas Yonky, usai mengikuti kegiatan Gebyar LKBB dan lomba 12 gerakan lalulintas di halaman Mall Ramayana, Sabtu (21 Oktober 2023).<\/p>\n<p>Ia menegaskan, di Garut tidak ada ruang untuk kompromi terkait minuman keras. Polres Garut akan menjalankan kebijakan itu tanpa pandang bulu. Pihaknya pun memiliki konitmen untuk bertindak tegas, di manapun, kapan pun, dan siapapun yang terlibat dalam kegiatan jual beli atau mengkonsumsi minuman keras.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Untuk itu kami meminta kerja sama dari seluruh unsur masyarakat. Apabila ada tempat-tempat atau seseorang yang dicurigai melakukan transaksi minuman beralkohol atau miras agar segera melapor atau berkoordinasi dengan Polres Garut untuk dilakukan penindakan dan penyelidikan,&#8221;
