Padahal, Garut diakuinya memiliki banyak obyek wisata dengan beragam pilihan segmentasi. Mulai wisata bagi keluarga, wisata alam, wisata religi, hingga wisata minat khusus.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang menyebutkan, beragamnya jenis wisata yang disuguhkan itu diharapkan, wisata di Kabupaten Garut bisa menjadi lokomotif yang mendorong tumbuh berkembangnya sektor-sektor ekonomi lainnya di Garut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lama kunjungan wisatawan di Garut itu baru satu setengah hari. Rata-rata mereka datang pada hari Sabtu, dan kembali pada hari Minggu,&#8221; kata dia.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Bambang, ada sejumlah faktor hingga lama kunjungan wisatawan di Garut belum begitu lama, baru mencapai satu setengah hari. Antara lain kondisi infrastruktur yang belum memadai. Padahal banyak lokasi yang memiliki daya tarik wisata di Garut letaknya cukup jauh, terutama yang ada di pedesaan. Akomodasi perhotelan terutama di wilayah selatan masih kurang.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Di Garut juga, belum ada even-even yang rutin diagendakan. Kapan pementasan sesuatu kesenian digelar misalnya. Apakah setiap akhir pekan atau tanggal berapa. Sehingga orang dengan sendirinya sudah tahu, kalau mau nonton suatu pagelaran itu kapan harus datang,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang menyebutkan, segmen pasar wisatawan di Garut sendiri masih wisatawan lokal. Terutama dari kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, dan Bekasi, serta sekitar wilayah Priangan Timur seperti Tasikmalaya dan Ciamis. Sedangkan, wisatawan mancanegara masih sangat sedikit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Umumnya mereka lebih ke napak tilas perkebunan, atau wisatawan dari Malaysia, Asia Tenggara. Bagi bule, Garut belum jadi tujuan pokok. Dalam setahun, rata-rata jumlahnya sekitar lima ribuan,&#8221; jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Kendati lama kunjungan wisatawan di Garut belum begitu lama, Bambang optimis jumlah dan lama kunjungan wisatawan di Garut ke depan dapat meningkat.<\/p>\n<p>Terlebih akses menuju Garut kini lebih mudah dengan sudah beroperasinya kereta api Garut-Cibatu-Pasar Senen serta akan dibukanya dua gerbang toll Cileunyi-Garut-Tasikmalaya (Cigatas). <b>(IK)<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GOSIPGARUT.ID &#8212;
