Warga sekitar sempat dibuat heboh dengan peristiwa tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Kepala Bidang (Kabid) Kedaruratan dan Logistik (Darlog) Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Garut, Daris Hilman mengatakan, begitu menerima laporan adanya peristiwa percobaan bunuh diri itu pihaknya langsung menurunkan personil ke lapangan untuk mengecek lokasi kejadian.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut dia, pria yang diduga melakukan percobaan bunuh diri dengan melompat di jembatan penghubung antara Kecamatan Garut Kota dan Tarogong Kidul itu sudah ditemukan oleh warga tengah berjalan sendiri di pinggiran Sungai Cimanuk, tepatnya belakang RSU dr. Slamet Garut dan ditemukan dalam keadaan selamat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Survivor diduga mencoba bunuh diri dengan meloncat dari Jembatan Maktal ke Sungai Cimanuk. Survivor sudah diamankan di Polsek Tarogong kidul, dan akan dijemput oleh pihak keluarga,&#8221; jelas Daris.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, orang tua Andri, Aas Saepurrohman, mengatakan bahwa anaknya itu memiliki penyakit tekanan jiwa dan pernah dirawat di beberapa tempat.<\/p>\n<p>Ia berterima kasih kepada berbagai pihak yang telah menemukan dan menyelamatkan anaknya tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alhamdulillah ini dengan pertolongan Allah, <i>sareatna<\/i> dari Bapak Kapolsek dan warga masyarakat atau Koramil setempat di sini, saya sebagai orang tuanya menghaturkan beribu-beribu terima kasih kepada semuanya,&#8221;
