GOSIPGARUT.ID —<\/b> Reaktivasi jalur kereta Cibatu — Garut Kota, Kabupaten Garut, yang sedang dikebut pemerintah diharapkan mampu memberikan keuntungan bagi masyarakat. Direktur SDM dan Umum PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), Ruli Adi, mengatakan kehadiran kereta itu nantinya tak hanya menghindari kemacetan namun ongkos perjalanan yang akan dikeluarkan warga juga dapat ditekan.<\/p>\n

“Nanti dari Garut ke Jakarta cukup bayar sekitar Rp 30 ribu,” ujar Ruli di Garut, Kamis (31\/1\/2019). Seperti diketahui, harga tiket bus dari terminal Guntur Garut menuju Jakarta yakni Rp 55 ribu. Sedangkan tiket travel untuk tujuan yang sama mencapai Rp 75 ribu hingga Rp 100 ribu.<\/p>\n

Menurutnya, pelaksanaan reaktivasi kereta api secara nasional terutama di wilayah Jawa Barat diharapkan mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Selain harga yang murah, pengaktifan kembali jalur lama yang telah mati suri, diharapkan mampu menjadi alternatif bagi moda transportasi perjalanan warga, di tengah ancaman kemacetan lalu lintas darat yang kian meningkat.<\/p>\n

\u201cSarana paling efektiif dan efisien untuk moda umum ya kereta api,\u201d kata Ruli.<\/p>\n

Tahun ini, rekativasi jalur Cibatu — Garut akan menjadi program reaktivasi pertama yang dikebut pemerintah. Di tengah proses pembersihan bangunan dan pemberian uang kerohiman, direncanakan seluruh proses pembangunan kelar tahun ini.<\/p>\n

Kepala PT KAI Daop II Bandung, Saridal, menambahkan saat ini progres pembangunan reaktivasi jalur Cibatu — Garut Kota masih sesuai on the track<\/i>. Perinciannya, pendataan warga terdampak hampir 100 persen, kemudian pembayaran uang kerohiman telah mencapai 50 persen.<\/p>\n
