Satgas yang seluruh personilnya wanita tersebut, dengan humanis, persuasif, dan edukatif mengajak beragam lapisan masyarakat agar bisa berpartisipasi dalam memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus corona.<\/p>\n<p>Bersama mobil unitnya, satgas ini secara terjadwal menyusuri seluruh ruas jalan di jantung Kota Garut. Mereka bergerak sambil wawar menyampaikan ajakan melalui pengeras suara, di antaranya supaya masyarakat dapat menjaga jarak sosial dalam berinteraksi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami berupaya maksimal mengajak masyarakat agar menghindari kerumunan massa, juga berpola hidup bersih dan sehat,\u201d kata Komandan Regu Satgas Merpati, Siti Masitoh.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan kekuatan enam personil, sejak pukul 07.30 hingga 16.00 WIB menyusuri setiap sudut perkotaan dengan menyuarakan ragam ajakan kepada masyarakat untuk memahami upaya pencegahan lebih baik daripada pengobatan.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Masitoh, ada kepuasan bathin tersendiri bisa menyampaikan seruan yang bisa memberikan banyak manfaat, meski kerap terpanggang gerahnya sengatan terik matahari, juga guyuran hujan lebat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Terkadang kami juga merasa miris, jika ada masyarakat yang menampakan wajah tak peduli bahkan senyum sinis bersamaan disampaikannya maklumat, dan ajakan berperilaku tertib, bersih, dan sehat,&#8221; ujar Masitoh.<\/p>\n<p>Kepala Satpol PP Kabupaten Garut, Drs H. Hendra S. Gumilang membenarkan jika jajarannya senantiasa gencar mengoperasionalkan\u00a0\u2018Satgas Merpati\u2019.
